Q. Are TigerTurf surfaces manufactured in the UK?

Yes, manufactured near Kidderminster, Worcestershire. There are also manufacturing sites in New Zealand that serves Australasia, the Pacific, Asia and India.

Q. What is TigerTurf grass made from?

It’s made from polypropylene or polyethylene yarn. Both materials are durable and U.V stabilised sourced from TenCate Grass, the world’s leading yarn manufacturer.

No, we install both locally, throughout the West Midlands, surrounding counties and further so please do give us a call to see if we install in your area.

Q. How do I obtain my samples?

Q. Will my surface fade?

No, each blade of grass is UV protected and guaranteed against fading for 10 years by TigerTurf UK .

Q. Does my surface have a manufacturer’s guarantee?

Sport specific surfaces have their own tailored guarantees depending on the type and usage of the surface.

Q. If I am not fully happy with my install will AGL resolve the problem?

We 100% want you to be delighted with your new surface and therefore in the rare event it is as a result of our install we will ensure the problem is put right.

Q. How do I measure the area I want covered?

You can either complete the online contact form or give us a call whereby we will arrange for one of our team to visit and measure the area for you.

Q. How long does it take for my surface to be installed?

This can vary from one day to two weeks depending on the type of install and the surface area to be covered but on visiting you to quote we can give you an approximate time to complete the project.

Q. Do I need to be there during the install?

No as long as we have entrance to the area and an electrical source we do not need you to take time off work during the install.

Q. Can I lay the surface myself?

Yes, we can supply only and we are more than happy to advise you on what other materials you need to complete your install.

Q. Will the strands of grass flatten in time?

Just like a natural lawn if there is a lot of foot traffic it will become flattened but this is easily corrected, you just brush against the pile with a stiff brush. On pitch/ sport specific and recreational surfaces we do advise a maintenance programme to keep your surface looking pristine.

Q. Is it true there is no maintenance?

No, even though it requires very little attention in comparison to a natural lawn it will need a little care. See our tips on caring for your surface and our maintenance service.

Q. Does the grass become hot during the summer?

If under very hot direct sunlight the surface will become hot over a period of time so just like when walking on a natural surface like sand, light footwear should be worn and small children should be sat on a blanket not directly on the surface.

Q. Is it safe for children to play on?

Yes. Independent studies have proven that synthetic surfaces are not harmful to humans or the environment. All TigerTurf products are made from the highest quality yarns, which are non-toxic. All coatings, glues and backings are also non-toxic.

Yes TigerTurf UK is committed to whilst providing a quality product that they need to reduce the effects on the environment. They work on projects to reduce landfill and have gained the ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management Certification. AGL ensures where possible waste is recycled and not added to landfill waste.
